LONG time lurker.

Follow a lot of these guys on here and feel like we're kin.
(everybody south of the Mason-Dixon is related to Andrew Jackson)

Opened an account a few weeks
back.

Have an OUTSTANDING Husky dealer a couple of dozen miles away and a semi-big box Stihl dealer another dozen.

I have many old school Stihls and Husky saws I've had for decades... 029, 064, 61, 268, 272.

Never really a fan boy but grew to love orange.

Lucked up on some good ones. Know all about EPA... been begging for a 500i from the box store but might as well have been taking to a stump!

Bought a handful of 372xp saws to put under the bed.

Had blinders on...
that was my direction.

Husky dealer asked how I liked my old truck...
4 speed, cast iron bad boy...
will have forever.

Asked to compare to my new one... 10 speed, aluminum, run off and hide from it.

He talked me into a new *computerized* 572xp.

Never have I ever!

(just saying)

I don't know, I don't care.

Nice to meet y'all!

It sounds like you'll fit in just fine here. Sometimes it's hard to accept new tech when old tech has been doing a good job for a long time. Some of the new tech
is pretty good though.

No reason to be afraid still a carb saw with auto adjustment that seems pretty durable, the technology may even save you from a burn down.
