I Like the 024 and the 028 ..038 , but i like the Ms 260 and Ms 361 just a little bit more .... so the flippy cap group has to get my vote over all .

A few more questions.

What size wrist pin on the 044 ? 10mm with a meteor piston

Which air filter ? Hd2 wrapped in a foam maxflow so it don't plug up with belray oil

How many "+" marks on the jug ? 2 the early first year had better timing #s ks models

Which muffler cover ? triple port with spaghetti strainer mesh for screens .

Angle fins ? Yes only if they are strait

Is it a "D" jug ? All 044's are D jugs

I think voters need to be informed.
yes they do ,i hope i answered your questions

I really like the stihl ms260 and 361. In regards to the 260 the saw is a complete POS from the factory and was in no way the equal of the 346xp, but it's light to handle, runs decent once you do a few simple mods and is stone reliable.
I also like the 440, but less so than the above two.
