For those guys that have watched some of my threads. This is the lathe I use when I'm cutting a dome piston or squish band.
Sl2500 mori with live tooling.
Looks fun huh!

Lol. That ones not mine. I work part time for 2 machine shops when they need the help and I'm slow. That has allowed me access to many machine. That one happens to be Mitsubishi controlled. Most of the C&C is either Mitsubishi or fanuc.

i personally prefer fanuc over Mitsubishi but this dual touch screen hurco controller takes the cake for me.

Used to work for a company that built parts for Okuma Machine tools. Fanuc controls are very common. I like the Mori controls in the picture, brings back quite a few memories.
