I wonder what is going on with the front of the muffler in the pic from the UK site.
It will be 54mm
With six transfer ports, two carburetors, reed-actuated secondaries, and two ignition modules?
Does it use the Husky standard splined carb adjustment screwdriver or no? ahem....cough cough.....Well, well, well, what da ya know. As the press release says, we should see them sometime in 2121. Second quarter just a guess.
Don't think I'm allowed to to reveal any details beyond what is in the press release. But believe me, it absolutely kicks ass.
There's a pic on this UK site. Looks like an official Husqvarna pic to me.

I can take my answer in a DM.![]()
If you need any one to test it out in the woods at work I could do that lolTwo actually.
Well, I called Sweden and for now I'm not going to go beyond what was in the press release, which I know isn't much. It's an honor, not to mention a lot of fun, to be in the test program, so I won't break the trust they've placed in me. Even acknowledging they exist wasn't cool until that press release came out.
I missed that, seems like a waste of a good chassis though if they don't pursue a larger bore. With a 52mm top end they could compete with a 500 and most likely have significantly more power all with very little weight gain over a 572 that is on the heavier side for a 70cc.I believe it was mentioned in another thread that the new saw was on a complete different chassis than the 572.
Yes. Most (but not all) newer chainsaws have plastic caged proprietary bearings unfortunately. I would gladly take plastic caged 6203’s over plastic caged 6202’s however. What bearing is in the 572? 6203 moded bearing just like stihl mod their 6202 and charge a premium?

Brooooo....id take a 581 any day on that chassis. A 10cc jump on that machine would make it ridiculous for its weight.
