I have to say.......the aftermarket has upped their game gents. Check out the new MS661 top end kit from Hyway.

Intake port looks a little small, but hopefully they raised it some. The 661 has way too much intake duration stock.



Beveling and port shape is damn good.





Combustion chamber and squish band are beautifully done.

Those cylinders do Look a lot more uniform and clean...have you checked the timing numbers yet? Be curious as to where they come in.

I don't have a 661 here right now.......but I will be adding those details when I can.

Here's where most aftermarket lose me. But I'm liking the looks of this piston.

I guess there is only two questions - how does it run out of the box? (Because that's important to someone)
And did they leave anything in the tank?

Fish tank, definitely fish tank. Maybe a big one, like the one in a Chinese restaurant where you can choose your own lobster. Aaaaand I'm hungry.

Just hurry up and do some magic monkey grinding and find some more horsepower, and I'll go find food.

All that aside, this is really exciting. The opportunity for the aftermarket to produce performance parts in a way the factory can't is really cool. I see it as being similar to an aftermarket set of pipes on a Moto. It may not meet the emissions/noise compliance that the factory must meet, but it suits the needs of power junkies.
With an autotune saw I'm not even certain that there will be a significant emissions downgrade for those concerned about such things.
