Hello,

Selling a Brand New 372 Non-Xtorq PHO. It was bought from a member here. I will post a link to the listing so no one thinks this is a repost. It was a low top converted to a high top. Not much more to say everything is in that listing. I will post some pictures of the saw with a date stamp as well to go along with the pics from the original listing. Any questions please ask. This is one of two new saws I am selling to recoup some funds from some used stuff I bought locally recently. I may keep it if the other saw sells first. If so I will take down the listing. Just wanna get my money back so $950.

Thanks,

Matt

Just a quick question for long time sellers here on the forum. Is there anything I’m missing in my post that should be there when selling? I’m surprised a new 372 has sat here this long. Just wondering if I’m missing something. Thanks Everyone

I've been noticing a lot of nice saws, decently priced, that aren't selling. Might be the economy has got people spooked.

Hopefully you'll get another reply from somebody who actually knows what they're talking about!

The market is down right now and has been down for a while - Typically the market softens in the summer. Now if the hurricane season ramps up on the east coast like the government says, then it could inject some momentum into the market. As pointed out above too, uncertainty in the economy likely has people holding off on bigger purchases.

I agree with what you said.
Not a political issue, purely an economic issue.
Although it may seem like years ago, the trillions, ( plural ) of dollars in covid money has finally worked its way through the economy IMO.
Not just the one time checks, but renters assistance, increased unemployment benefits, and many other programs that were funded by the federal government have dried up. Now many folks are back to living within their means.
Numerous good saws are not been selling, or they are selling at bargain prices.
Just my two cents.

I am sitting on a ton of new saw inventory currently and have more coming in. I believe I price them fairly but still get a bunch of tire kickers. I really wonder how some keep from breaking their toes. There is no doubt sales across the board are slumping due to the season partially but I believe mostly due to the uncertain economic situation. I am having to pay tariffs on shipments coming in now. I have never paid a tariff before. The US dollar is slumping against the Canadian dollar and EURO. The mill here is paying bargain prices on the top grade Walnut because they cannot export it right now. It is going to be a bumpy summer

Thanks Everyone! Lots of good answers and info. Completely makes sense. It’s unfortunate sales are down for everyone. I’m just worried I’m gonna end up using it soon and keeping it if I don’t sell it soon. Hard to see a saw just sitting here unused.
