Holy chit, just saw prices for the markII from a dealer that has some of the lowest advertised prices on saws anywhere in Sweden...8495kr for the XP and 9395kr for the XPG. A 390XPG is selling for 8495kr atm from the same dealer. That is 2500 and 2600kr more expensive than the oe is and has been priced for a long time. That is roughly 40% more expensive!!!!!!! WTF?! A 572XPG PHO is 10710kr from the same dealer.

Take your US price for the normal 550 and add 42% (6000 swedish kr + around 42% =8495) to this price.

40%+ over an OE is unbelievable IMO. Better be the best 50cc saw ever made by a wide margin at that price IMO. That price is 20% more expensive than a 261 with heat and Stihl's are usually more expensive than their Husky counterparts here by 10-15%.

It might be he is just capitalizing on the fact that supply is low and it's hard to get at the moment. Once other dealers get their stock in I'm sure prices will start to line up closer to MSRP.

The us market is its own we cant calculate what there going to cost over here based on what other countries prices are. Lets just wait and see.

I noticed the same from my swed dealer. which typically beats dealer pricing of most others.

I doubt those are the prices we will see here.

Someone is just banking off of the new hotness.

There were the smae reports about the 572 also prior to release, ended up not being true, I would expect to pay around 40.00-50.00 more for the mark II. Let's just wait and see. Husky has always been fairly priced here, I don't see that changing.

That's a gooder dealer too. It's right in the middle of nowhere Michigan, but one of the larger husky dealers in the state. Also gotta love it when you can look at tractors, chainsaws, and guns at the same place.

At home without firm numbers but there's not much of a price increase at all. Might have posted something earlier in this thread, and I'll check in the morning.

Ship date got kicked out another week the last I looked; to 3/27. We're getting a shipment of tractors tomorrow if anybody wants one though. LOL
