Fact is the 084 and 088 and MS880 pistons are the same.

Back in the day there were racers that put 090 and 3120 tops on 166's. Had to hack
up the cases quite a bit to do it. I have a couple cases from Ed Macnamara that were
modded that way.

These are already done. Guy in NY has them. $220

a modified Stihl 084 piston. Now it's at 136cc's.

This saw is still top of my list that I have ran. Marks twin is next.

Everything is stock except the bore and the muffler. I was told
I could advance about a half a key like 5 degrees but I haven't
done that yet.

Hell I was darn impressed with Wendell's 166 and I don't know what has or hasn't been done to it. Ran it years ago at Dan's GTG down in Arkansas... It was a wonderful time!
