Every one I've seen with a vertical silver sticker has been a version two.

I took some better pictures.

Yep I agree. All the new ones I’ve seen have the silver sticker like in the pictures of the new arctics bill shows, but what if it’s vertical, white, and before the serial # break as seen in Bills post above? It’s the old style sticker it just happens to be vertical.

I've never seen a white vertical sticker.

Damn sure looks like a white sticker on vertically.

Yeah.....this sticker is incorrect for that position. This style sticker should be on the other case half, and positioned horizontally.

Hard to tell in your original pics, Bill. Is that sticker on the front of the saw white or silver?

I would call it white but according to Stihl I cannot see colors since what I call white they call grey.
I grabbed a new 661 to compare.

I am as upfront as I can be and will provide whatever pictures are needed. I am a firm believer in education.

If anyone has access to Stihl's T.I. bulletins, the change should be described in TI 002.2021. If the change from a white sticker to a silver one coincides with design changes, chances are they mentioned it in that TI. Although I personally don't believe that machines with serial numbers below 190 015 190 are a newer version, regardless of the type of sticker on them.
