SOLD Near New Stihl 462

Here is as close to new 462 as you will find. A local gentleman phoned me a month ago wanting to know if I was interested in some saws he had. We finally met up last evening and this is one of them. The pictures do not do it justice. The saw is as new as you will find without being new. It has the original 25 inch bar and chain on it. The build date is July 2020. I think $1100 plus UPS is a fair price. If you do not want the bar and chain then $1025 plus UPS

The 462 has undergone some serious design changes. The case, cylinder, and piston are are different now.

These two pictures show the changes to the slug and the cases.

I don’t normally condone openly questioning the price in a fellers for sale thread but you asked for clarification Bill. @kielbasa is correct the old style 462 is far less desirable.

I love the first version of the 462 with a 20-24" bar, they rip. I wish I could still buy them.

That picture it's hard to tell which color the sticker is. It could just be my eyes thou, grandma tried to warned me....

Both the V1's that I had the sticker was horizontal and on the flywheel side of the case.

The V2 that I have the sticker is vertical and on the PTO side of the case.
