Ok so I have had this handle in my stash for quite a while. Have had many saws in my possession and have yet to figure out what it fits. Does anyone have any clues for me to figure it out. There are no markings on it at all. Thanks.

I was thinking that but the top has tapered sides. From what I have seen the Weber’s are more squared off at the top. Thanks for your thoughts

I was thinking a stihl as well. I don’t have a 066 at the moment. I will compare it to my 044 later today. I know they are a different but are similar. When about was madsens making handles?

I don't think it's a Madsens brand, just one they sold. I'll have to ask Uncle Rob, he picked it up for me years ago (9+ yrs?) shortly after we both got our 650's.

Madsen's never made the handles. The brand was "USA Products" and it was a guy that was fairly local to Madsen's that made them. I agree - that one looks like 066 but it's missing the mounting
block that goes on the bottom. The old guy that was making those handles ended up with some serious health problems and had to close the business.

I just compared it to my 044 handle. It seems very close but a little too big, which would make sense if it is for a 066. Thanks for all the background information guys. Much appreciated.

I’d be interested in it if you want to sell. My guess is I could mill a base
