My 562XP has a bad bog

How long was it running before developing the bog?
I assume you've eliminated the mix as a potential problem?

About ten minutes maybe. It is a rich issue too. Puff of smoke rich.

Running on 87 non E with Yamalube 2R at 40:1

I don't think so. It runs great. Just bogs after idling for more than a few seconds.

Notching a idle hole in the throttle plate fixed a few 550's with hesitation issues. Not sure if it has worked on the 562 or not. Dang 5 series....if they did'nt run so well when working properly they'd be stacked 10high @ the local tip!

Check the flywheel key, on my wws 562 the rest of the key goes off, and the saw was running weird and too rich.

Almost sounds like the low side is trying to fuel like the high side when idling...

Is it ported?

Here is the carb and unit, the little screwdriver is pointing at the throttle position sensor.

Do it have a idle stop screw or is it adjustable ?

I did a 500i had to change all linkage components work great after that
