All the AV springs are the same from 1/2 to 3/4 wrap on the 500.
Them Germans only run 18”-20” bars anyway...
The only complaint I have with my MMWS 441CMR is the mushy anti-vibe springs.
I am curious if this kit would fit and work for my 441?
Any input from our members would be Greatly appreciated!
Chet
I picked up a 36" 500i today and it felt like an AV buffer was broken. Floppy for sure.
The spring and foam piece, yes. I’m not sure where the rubber buffers are from yet.
The kit definitely helps make this saw a “west coast” saw.I am glad you like the kit!
I designed those for Gordy at WCS and it took a few rounds of prototypes and testing with some loggers out west.
We had the stock rubber buffers tested for durometer and matched it with a resin.
These parts, along with the flanges on the air filters we make, and also my vstack adapters are made where Cole Armbruster @Armbru84 works ( or a division of )
He set me up awhile back and things have since improved in the 3d printing world for me, thus allowing me to come up with more designs that can me made of strong nylon based materials, resin materials, and flexible TPU materials.
HUGE shoutout to Cole for being an awesome friend and believer!
And thanks to all of you for the same. We appreciate you guys trying out these new products, to better your cutting experience, and to make your saws breathe better!
Happy cutting everyone!

I was on YouTube watching a video of hot saw with a 500 l . And he said the same thing when I saw it was held sideways it flops around and rubs the plastic on the air filter like it was missing av mountsI picked up a 36" 500i today and it felt like an AV buffer was broken. Floppy for sure.
Well that would make sense as this saw started life as a 441CM.
I converted it with factory parts including the HV pump, clutch cover and wrap.
But didn't know about the springs
If anyone has the correct P/N I will purchase them and hopefully correct my wayward path.
Thank you for the help!
