Ms461 base gasket delete

Anyone know if you can delete the base gasket on a 461 without much fuss? I've looked online and usually come up with Mastermind's build thread. Send like I've seen something about a little interference with the tower deal and some grinding needed.

The flange screws hit on some of them. Can remove the 2 screws and grind .005" off them or so. A straight edge will tell you if they're in the way

I'd guess it will benefit from it. Where's the squish at now? Some have room for a gasket delete some don't.

I'll check squish this afternoon. I wasn't going to pull it without checking but I had remembered something about the tower screws being in the way. Will report back with my findings.
