You got a super deal on that too! You will be hard pressed to find a stock 440 on CL for that price, and who knows what's inside. You're getting a saw from a reputable builder that will make you grin at a fantastic price!!!

Itsa comin. LOL
I gotta get back out there. Soon.
But it runs nice. I just have to retune the idle. Low idle.

I believe it tunes over 14500,where do you have it at? 14000 would probably be a good rpm to leave it at for work.
13500 will be to slow for it.

I haven't touched it yet, but it doesn't like to stay running when idling. Should I try and adjust the low idle? I don't have a tach.
Seems to be fine at the top end.

Will do.
Does humidity affect the tune?
Everything affects tune. Lol
If you can meet with Dan that would be great. If he will help you learn how to tune properly you will love your saw even more, for maximum performance a saw needs tuned everytime you use it.
It's not necessary but once you learn how you will do it everytime anyway.

I am pretty good with tuning by ear. I've been around a little bit. But mostly with just stock saws. This is my first ported saw.
Up here in RI, I am mostly at sea level, no altitude, and it has been extremely humid when I last used the saw.
