Ok...... Had a weird one today.
Friend lost spark on his 362. Gave him my beater 362 to rob the coil off and get to cutting. Swapped and no spark on that one????? Wth it was running last month. Whatever no biggie go to grab another and I don't have any spare for non mtron. Rolled the dice that a ms361 coil would fit and it did. Needed to swap the plug wire and slightly tweak the kill terminal. But it fit and actually ran pretty good.
My question is leave the 361 coil on it or spring for a new 362 coil? Any benefit from keeping the 361 on it? Or will it be a long term problem?
Edit: Anyone know if they have the same rev limit or anything like that?
