I have a local tree service that I do saw work for. Last week he brought me an MS360 that needs a fuel tank. He made the comment that the saw is starting to cost him a bunch of money.. nickle and dime type stuff. Lets face it the saw is at least 12 years old and probably closer to 14-15 years old in a commercial setting. I asked if he would consider replacing it and he said yes.. but with what? His criteria is 20" B&C 3/8. He has a pair of 044's for 84dl bars... and an aging 066. Honestly he needs a bunch of new saws.. but that's another conversation.
This MS360 has been tough and put up with lots of grief. What is out there new that will put up with the same level of work? MS362? 562XP?
What are some of you commercial guys using for a 20" 3/8 saw that holds up? What have you run that did NOT hold up?
