Thanks. I have only used the duct tape on top covers and a brake flag and obviously them only parts only.

I've used the aluminium tape a couple of times before. I'm not sure if it's much different than using the OEM foil shield, if you double or triple lay it.

They're also pretty inexpensive when you buy the kit.

Yeah, for sure. I usually get a gasket set for a project saw.

That tape just a handy thing to have around and will probably suffice as a make-do heat shield - if that's all you have.
