wanting to know if a MS170 piston/ring will fit in a MS192t. I received a free 192t that might need a new piston/ring or just rings. Waiting for the flywheel puller to come in so I can take the saw all the way down to remove the piston. Man these saws are a Pain to work on.

Sorry I can't answer your question but and it sounds like you already purchased the correct tool but..... When I did the timing advance on my 192tc, I loosened the flywheel nut to the end of the shaft and gave it a sharp tap and the flywheel popped off. It was the easiest flywheel I ever removed. I know that some don't like to do it this way but it worked fine for me.

Yes I believe it was. Big "beans" that fell in the fall. We had a wind storm a few years back and it just spilt down the middle. Didn't enjoy using my 026 that day. It was my nicest ornamental tree. That one hurt.

Had it stumped and planted some purple smoke bushes. Hoping they continue to grow well since I could not replant another tree in the same place.

Sorry to derail image.jpeg
