Just don't overdo Randy! I'm afraid I'm one of the covid "long haulers" I have had symptoms since mid November! But I'm alive and not on a ventilator, so I'll take it!

Now I feel as though I have strep throat. Barely can even talk.

Sore throat usually isn't a lasting effect of the covid for to long, breathing issues well those vary so much from person to person, no real rhyme or reason why it effects some so harsh and others DNT know they even have it, atleast that's what we have been seeing in the ER I work in for the last 10 months. Best advice I can say is don't push yourself, only do what you can do and then rest, when the body says enough we need to listen w Covid, or it pushes back hard.

That's what worries me - lingering and long term effects. I've heard of kidney and liver damage and in some rare cases - brain damage and stroke they think was brought on by the virus.

People that aren't taking it seriously only increase the risk of infection for those that are. I hope you're feeling better soon.

Regarding COVID - I had a family member die of it on Wed morning. 46yo female, good health, no co-morbidities, not overweight, 3 weeks in ICU, double pneumonia, collapsed lungs, kidney failure, cardiac arrest, had to be revived a time or two, then bang. Dead. This stuff ain't no joke. Wear your mask guys and wash your dirty asses. With soap.

Regarding Selling - this forum and AS are the only two I use that don't require some creds or minimum post count to sell items. Both can be a pain to someone who doesn't meet the threshold but I think it's a good idea. I see posts all the time for saws and components for sale with only a few posts - no matter the deal, I move along. I've also been asked when selling something if I have someone to vouch for me so I've sent them to other members I've done business with for creds. Either way, it is still scary for the buyer. G&S is the way to go to protect ourselves, but often times, unless specifically called out in the sale ad, the seller eats those fees. I just ran into that on another site. My mistake in the ad but I won't make it again. There are plenty of guys on here I buy stuff F&F and will continue to do so with those I have personal experience with or are highly regarded. Best things we can do as members is rate the seller and buyer after the sale!

Very sorry to hear about your loss. Not liking that post either.
My wife and I both had Covid about 7 weeks ago. Pretty mild symptoms. We consider ourselves very lucky and fortunate.
