They didn't change port timing and such or ignition timing? That piston didn't change your squish related work? I wonder if the piston is heavier? I think I have an older version, I have something special planned for it whenever I get around to it.

Everything is the same except the piston crown, and the combustion chamber design. The firmware is different, as the reset procedure is now the M3 process.

I don't alter the exhaust port roof height, just the width. The biggest change that I do is in the upper transfers. They use an insert that is epoxied in, and it doesn't fit worth a damn. I raise the uppers, and match the insert to the passages. The ignition timing is as far advanced as possible without causing a misfire under load from the factory, so I don't alter the flywheel key.

When they redesigned and added the domed slug, they changed it to the V3 deal too.
