Pretty close to the same if cut speed is the metric you're asking about. The 661 is much lighter though.

If long bars are your thing the 661 is worth it for the side chain tensioner and internal clutch alone!

I don't believe it is.
I purchased this saw new from dealer in 2016 and immediately sent it to Randy to be ported.

It would say v2 or v3 on the tag with the d.o.m. I don’t think the originals said v1.
