from what I have heard the non x torque can be made faster more racy but a little less torque an xpw done properly (they need a lot of work porting them so gotta know what there doing to make them really run) can be faster and stronger don't know this first hand just what i have heard

Xtorq and xpw are close when ported for torque. I think the xtorq will kill it in mileage. The 50mm non xtorq has the most racey feel.

Mike, are you referring to how long the saw will last in service? or fuel mileage?

Fuel mileage. They should last the same amount of time with the same amount of care. They use less fuel so more oil going through them doesn't hurt at all.
