I had this saw ported by Randy about 4 years ago and other than in small wood with a short bar I had it tuned to around 12, 500 with it 4 stroking heavily. This saw was already nasty after he got done with it with "higher than usual" compression that I asked for. She's pushing around 220-225. Today I sharpened her up and brushed the dust off her ( 16.6 hours on works meter since new) and thought I'd tune and run it. Found it still four strokes good at 13, 500 and clears up nice in the wood, let me tell you its like I was running this 5 speed in 4th the whole time. I blame it on nerves. Just thought I'd post a thread about it since I haven't posted one on OEP yet.

We need a video, open it up and let chips fly!!
haha will do! I know the rules. May take a day or so but ill get one. I know I ran it at wiggs gtg a few years ago with a 28" buried and a 9 pin. It pulled nasty till the chain derailed which I knew was bound to happen.

That's probably close to the sweet spot for using a long bar. Probably still 4 stroke close to 14.5 though...
