Am looking at this fuel brushless series ,i have some of the earlier versions regular m-18 and it looks like i can use the same batteries with this series ,The 1/2 and 3/8 impact guns and hammer drill ,maybe update my 1/4 driver as i use that an awful lot for screws ,anyone have any input on the fuel model of cordless tools yet ?

I have the hammer drill, sawsall, impacts and portable bandsaw. They are about 10-15%more powerful than the non brushless. I use them everyday for work and love them. I used to only use dewalt but the m18 fuel impact is more powerful than the desalt 20v brushless. I have completely switched to Milwaukee.

I've got 1/4" and 1/2" impact driver/wrench. I'm VERY pleased with them. Apparently the older models a few years back were not that great, but the new stuff is "the bees knees."

All in all, good tools. The batteries will interchange with the regular m18. We do have 2 hammer drills at work with problems. One is my work drill. Almost unusable sometimes. It has never been abused. It has had an easy life considering what I've done to/with the older v18 and m18 drills. I just received a new impact hammer drill brushless kit yesterday while the boss tries to have the old one repaired under warranty. The impacts have been great and are almost twice as fast as the brushed impact.

This is all we use at work and I have my own personal set at home and wouldn't buy anything else. I even bought the wife an m12 fuel set drill/driver and impact for in the house and she loves it. I buy most of my Milwaukee tools through cpomilwaukee.com and try to purchase when they give away free stuff when you purchase certain items. I have added batteries, a grinder, and many other free bare tools when I purchased stuff.

As others have said, this is all we use at work and I wouldn't be without them, the quality is unreal and I can't recommend them enough! They do a hex drive impact gun which is bloody unreal, it's my go to saw disassembly tool! And is still powerful enough to strip and rebuild the rusty oily propshafts and suspension on the defender

I think in 2006 or something they got bought out by the company that owns ryobi and Home Depot's rigid. Tti or something like that. There's a guy on YouTube that tears new tools to pieces and explains the ins and outs. Really smart dude. He goes by AVE.

I've got the 1/4, 3/8, 1/2 and black jacket. The 1/4 m12 with the 4.0 battery is hard to beat.

1/2 impact should impress you.

I just returned my to the home shop while waiting for my second Ingersol W7150 to show up

I've got too many 18v Makita tools to switch over to another brand, although I just bought a 12v Milwaukee PEX expansion tool. I doubt that I will ever wear it out.

My brother and I had all Snap-On stuff and updated to Milwaukee fuel products and love them. Don't hardly use air impacts any more. The 5.0 amp batteries run a long time too. The switch in my 3/8 impact did take a *s-word within the firs month. They fixed it with an updated switch they said. They are definitely a good product

Home Depot has the m18 radio/charger with Bluetooth on sale right now for 180 and normally I believe it is 230

I bought a fuel drill / impact driver kit when I built my deck and pergola. They've been great tools.

Then I bought a 1/2" impact - it rides along to the woods with me and on long road trips in the event I have a flat. Makes rotating tires a dream - not tripping over an air hose.

I'm a sucker for cordless. I'm using Dewalt now. I just added the new DCH293 SDS+ rotary hammer.

I have had a Milwaukee 2763-22 for over a year, amazing 1/2 cordless impact gun. I use torque sticks when putting nuts on, it can be a real stripper.
