Metal detector - what to get for big logs?

Looked at HF and then spent a very few additional bucks on this brand/model, or the current equivalent. Way more factory and regional support. The regional rep. spent the better part of a afternoon doing demonstrations on how to get improved scanning results. They have accessories (different coils) for improved detection's that may be better tailored for an specific use.
