Was actually surprised with the detail of that toy saw. Will not run till you turn it on, then pull the cord! Rubber chain spins, and they give you an extra chain!

Also, the trigger safety lock actually works! But best of all, he seems to like it!

I loved the video. The little one enjoying his Christmas gift is a highlight of my day. Those days fly by quickly. Cherish and enjoy them --keep the memories in your heart and mind. Happy New Year!

Those 3 are my Grandkids, so I know the routine! They are 2, 7 (w/chainsaw), and 9 (10 tomorrow). It is a great age to spend time with them and teach them things, fishing, shooting, Scouts, hiking, baseball, bike riding, sleigh riding, etc.

The older one had chosen the Husky Blower over the Stihl Saw. Unfortunately, with just an on/off switch, and a very soft air stream, it is not as interactive as the saw. Did not realize what the differences would be till they were both unboxed.

Belated Merry Christmas and wishing all of you saw maniacs a Happy New Year! Spent Christmas Eve with my 92 year old grandfather then spent Christmas day with my other grandparents who are 91 and 93. Doesn't get any better then that.

There must be a few Norwegians up in your neck of the woods?

There is a few, but they all speak english, 2nd, 3rd generation, most all the old timers that emigrated here are gone now. But my phone has translate on it.LOL
Not so much Norwegian, but Finnish. Michigan, Minnesota, and Wisconsin are the top 3 for Finnish settlements in the USA. The northwestern end of Michigan's upper peninsula still has towns with 50% Finnish inhabitants. The accent can be heard in northern portions of all 3 states, and up in to canada

Swede's, Poles, as well, Germans probably have majority of emigration to Wisconsin. And yes Finnlander's too.
