I think that 12 HP is an exaggeration or a miss print .Most likely around 8-81/2 HP .Then again I've seen articles of the aviation model of the Mac 125 or 101 engines giving a rating of 15 HP which might be a little iffy .What changed regarding HP or kW since that saw was made? 5.9kW is much less than 12HP, so which is it? Would be fun to see it on the dyno.

It’s basically a Dolmar 166 , with a Mcculloch touch on it ,Interesting find on this model . I detect a tad bit of Partner in this thing .Although I know exactly nothing about it I might assume this was real close to the demise of McCulloch motors . Makes a person wonder what if these designs came out 10 years before if big Mac could have survived .
