I put the 850 thru some 24" pine and its a dang strong saw and a lot smoother than I thought it would be.850's are nice saws, the others were built before I was born (I have been out of college for over 35 years).
The saws in that series were well ahead of most of the industry, just like Poulan was with there AntiVibe series.I put the 850 thru some 24" pine and its a dang strong saw and a lot smoother than I thought it would be.

Thank you bud. The 35's are pretty nice too, just need some cleaning up.850 looks good.
Which saw was that?I'd love an Anti Vibe. Just missed out on the one Randy just sold.
850 looks good.
I believe you may have got it on a trade. 5200Which saw was that?
The 850 is still relevant for regular use.
Sí señor.I believe you may have got it on a trade. 5200
I've never ran one but love the looks of them.Sí señor.
That is where I acquired these sawsSí señor.
After a few cuts with this one I'd have to agree. I just went out and ran the 35 a bit more and after a couple minutes of idling it cleared up. Idles and revs just fine. Like Randy said " you can just about file them while they are running"View attachment 24484
Everyone should have an 850.

I see. I believe the 850 you picked up came from the West Coast. Northern California more specifically. That is where I acquired these saws
