LOL, three weeks are no delay! :risas3:

Try two months, and still have items missing from Your order! :confundio1:
Once the learning curve is over you will appreciate its
prescision and durability Will.Get a CBN wheel, no dressing needed,
and no dust! The wheel cuts, not grind Keep us posted

Yes, Stihl was already slow with parts delivery even before COVID!

The sad thing is, Dolmar was fast, 3-5 work days to my doorstep in Croatia from Germany, rarely ever any ordered item missing.
Makita broke Dolmar, it is like they want the Dolmar brand destroyed!

Yeah, don't give Your hard earned cash to greedy dealers!!!
Three weeks is nothing.
Being close to the homeland of Dolmar I would expect parts availability
to be good, same for Stihl, but once they started making in china things
were never going to be the same, the china mentality is not the same as
that of the people in Germany, whether Dolmar or Stihl.

We will end up with a two tier system soon enough, those who want to
pay double will get the part in stock, otherwise wait, the guy at the Stihl
dealers was laughing even before he got to USG on the price list, saying
things were crazy expensive now, I could have got one in a few days
if I wanted to pay his crazy money.
The MS400 went from 920.00 to 1299.00, they are just upping the prices
to make up for lost sales on items they can't get without a long wait.

I use Maxx Grinder and am happy with it. I like the way it clamps the chain. I use a cbn wheel. Often run several chains on side before flipping it to do other side .

I bought a USG from retired dealer in NJ but was lost or stolen by USPS. Reason 784 not to ship by PO.

Thanks for posting. The USG is almost double the price of the Ama MAXX Pro.
I did have a look at the Oregon Grinders, but most people say Get the USG,
its a tighter built Grinder, it should last longer all things being equal.
I want to sharpen my own chains, and when I get proficient I will sharpen
for others too. I also hear the wheels for the Stihl are quite good, will last me
a good while until I learn to shape them, and take care of them during use.

I can completely understand why people would set up a few grinders to sharpen
the different cutters, that would save a mountain of time and keep things simpler too.
get the borozon wheel, no need to profile the wheel, and lasts 10 times longer

Well its been a while, 14 months, and the useless stihl dealer that was supposed to get
in the USG never got back to me about the grinder he said would be with in him three weeks.
Could I have kept pressure on him, yes, but to me if someone can not be decent or trusted
to do what they said they would they are not worth dealing with, the exact same problems
could occur if I needed a part, not going down that road.
