Resolved max size for info PDFs etc?

just wondering how big a PDF can be attached, I have tended to scan and convert complete service binders in the past for esoteric obsolete brands but just realized those binders are pretty good size and too much compression hurts image quality
the pioneer 1961/64 binder is about 88MB for the 4 PDFs with the largest being about 38mb

that is fine I just want them to be in wider circulation than just my D drive
it is four files that make up the whole binder

I don't want to crush your server but my digital library is pretty vast and I have access to dang near every printed word on chainsaws from about 1955 to 1992/3 in the form of an actual library in a local grumpy ass dealer?
