MASTERMINDED SOLO 665/7910 I have 2 of these I will sell only one there both brand new I ran one for about 15 min to try it out had to couldn't resist and WOW! What a runner this thing is wicked and has excellent torque. Price is $1100 the 665 solos are basically all sold only way to get them now pretty much is to buy them from someone. Then buy a 7910 piston and cylinder and pay for porting. I have more than $1200 in each saw.
Need to free up some cash so selling one

yep, when we all bought these up, there was only a few avail. Only way to get them is to go thru a private seller. When you take the saw price, pc price, porting, (not to mention being on a waiting list for MMWS), these saws are a deal at 1100.00

15 pounds dry pho should be roughly the specs on it. I have not weighed it I would say it is slightly heavier than the 372 I had if I had to guess but it feels close in weight to that 372 were not talking much difference here

does 365 and 372 x torque weigh the same?
Thanks for the info I didn't think it would be a full pound between them glad to see someone get the solo up on a scale now we know

That pound is "solid muscle" though. The 665/7910 is one "lean mean machine". I actually liked how it felt/balanced in the hands.

Yes the power for its weight is superb one of the very best. For the additional weight your picking up a lot of power my 372 xt would not have wanted any of this solo its :coleman:

Should be compared to this. 7900 7910

Shame folks didnt support them years ago. They had a decent product in the whole class of saws.

I carry the poulans 65cc 71cc 77cc 83cc on same crankcases, so you will see the weight isnt a factor for firewood cutting.

i stopped by Randy's yesterday. I was in the area buying building material for the kids playhouse. Anyways, he asked why in the world I sold both of my Solos? He then said, "you know, those Solos are the strongest saws I build." As he said it, I had a momentary regret cutting em loose.

solos are arguably the pound for pound king of modern saws.

GLWS (and free bump)

Purely informative:
There are still some leftover Solo 665/675/681's here in Croatia, they are priced very high thus obviously nobody buys them.
Original Dolmar PS-6400/7300/7900's can also still be had even though they are priced more affordably. ;)
I wish they'd make a all-must-go-half-price-sale, I'd buy them ALL starting with the Dolmar PS-7900's & Solo 681's! :D
I may not have enough cash left to fuel them up but I'd be a happy camper. :p
