Before anyone reacts and says I am defending them, I am saying the news outlet is just as guilty as they make Target out to be by not being responsible journalists and providing all the relevant information about the case so a reader can make an informed judgement. This is really no different than a forum member saying he was wronged by another member and everyone agreeing before the other side of the story comes out.

As Target is suing, it will be a civil case rather than a criminal one. Thus their action either seeeks monetary damages or injunctive relief to prevent certain actions from occurring. If someone has the style of the case, please post it here so it can be reviewed.

I stopped shopping there when they sold our troops down the river in the Iraq war back in the 2002-03 era. Target is not French owned, it is a publicly traded company that is part of the S&P 500 and listed on the NYSE. The company dates to 1902 and they were founded and owned by the Dayton family. The corporate structure went through several iterations, prior to becoming Target Corporation in 2000 the parent company was Dayton-Hudson.
