Can one be converted from a cut off saw to a chainsaw. Do they have an oiler provision or are they designed specifically for concrete. Also what mods can be done to one.
Yeah I'm wondering what's up with it. I haven't had a chance to look it over, just got it today. It was given to me. I believe I have a good cylinder that will work on it if needed, for some unknown reason. I have no idea how I end up with so much random crap.
Ok so good news bad news I figured out why it was parked. Looking through the plug hole there is obvious transfer won't know how bad till I tear it down. But considering I got this for free a new piston and a vac test to check seals I should have a nice cut off saw for around $100. Not bad I think.
None that are high quality like meteor but I have found some AM Pistons for about 1/2 of OEM prices and cleaned them up and used cabers with decent results so far.
Hlsupply has a hyway for $25 on their website I've never bought anything online that wasn't through ebay and don't know how to go about it on their site.
While I'm into it could I put a 7900 top end on this or would that be silly. I mean I know everyone likes the 7900 but it's a chainsaw not a cutoff saw top end.
