I’m selling a pretty nice 6401 Makita. Has good compression i think it might need a carb kit but not 100 percent sure. Saw doesn’t look really hardy used. I’m asking $400.00 plus shipping for the saw I will try and get some pictures of up asap thanks

That’s what I’m seeing, too. Wanted to make sure the right pictures were in the listing - some key differences between the 6401 and 6421 (SS muffler, right side decomp, etc)…

Some of the 6421's had the side decomp and top cover like the 6401. Im not sure if they were just using the rest of those parts in the transition or why they did it.
