I regret trying to circumvent the rules. I’m a bad bad boy.

Yep, it sure was doing that. Needed a half turn adjustment to the L screw which someone else helped me with on another site. Anything else you want to add or does that about do it for your useless imput?

Aw crap…just what I need…a backup saw.
@Colonel 428 don’t get your feelings hurt…I think it was relevant…you cleared it up, all good.

Dude…chill…or you’re gonna crash…he was just making the point that the saw *may* have issues. You gotta realize lots of sketchy guys have been thru here so there’s a hard eye for them…and we don’t know you from Adam. Deep breath. :-)

Yeah, I get it now. Good on you for checking that Duane. I wouldn't try to sell anyone something without being completely upfront and honest. Same way I'd want to be treated

The saw runs good but I just don't use it. I bought it off a guy about a year ago and I can't have put more than 10 hrs on it. It had that dying out of the cut issue but adjusting the carb seems to have fixed it (at least the last couple of times I've used it). I had it gone thru by the owner of a small engine shop here in Matthews, NC. Guys been in business for 31 yrs. That's how I know the compression is 150.

I'm a small time firewood guy and get most of my wood from a couple of tree service guys I've met. I find I use my 372xp and 7900 mostly and the smaller 4300 to cut individual pieces to size if they happen to be too long.

How do I go about being able to post something for sale on this site in the actual " for sale" section?...

Yeah if mine wasn’t ported I don’t think I would dig it…it’s nearly as heavy as a 372 and not as much power. But ported? Yeah buddy…won’t pull as long of bars but hauls the mail.

Yeah, I kinda prefer the ergonomics of the Huskies. I'm not really in love with the 7900 either. I mean I know it's a well built saw but I don't yearn to use it. Bought a 390xp a couple of weeks ago, modded the muffler and am enjoying it quite nicely. Really, my plan is to sell the 6100, the 7900 and a 372xt I've got a dive into the autotune world with a 550xp and a 572xp.

Ported 7900 will whup everything near its weight class. Lmk when you wanna sell. Mine is probably my favorite saw.
Autotune is nice.
