I've got a surf Makita 4300 for sale. Starts easily, idles, oils and runs as it should. Could use a longer length of starter cord on it but that's it. $300 + shipping for the power head only or $350 + shipping for the power head, two 16" bars and 6 useable chains. Thank you, Steve.

I appreciate you men remembering me wanting a smurf 4300. When @Colonel 428 offered saw to me he didn't think it had easy start option. If it does have the easy start option yes I'm interested I saw. Also I have some bars that will fit a 5000 so was leaning more to that size.

Are the 4300 fairly easy to start without easy start option?

Mine is very easy to start too. Simple as purge bulb. Set choke, pull to pop, off choke, pull and cut wood! Also it's very light for the power and spring av makes it like you are holding nothing at all.

Those are very hard to find here in the states. I had to pull a favor to get one shipped here from the UK. It's a DCS5030! And yes, it was worth it!
