Well here is what I have now and they all seem to over lap each other. 254 18" 262,562 20", 371, ms 460,7900 25", 385 and 288 28-32". They are are ported.

According to husky specs the 550 is 10.8# and 562 is 13.2#. With a 1.4# difference I'm afraid that there won't be that much difference between the two. So I was just wondering what else was out there.

What he said^^^ As much as I truly love 50cc Orange saws, a well ported 026 or 026 Pro will be about 3-4lbs lighter than your 562xp (depending on the cutting equipment on each). If your running a 20-24" bar on the 562 (especially if running .063-3/8" chain) and run a 14-16" bar of .328 or .3/8" on the 026, the difference will be QUITE noticeable after about 1 fill-up. YMMV. The A/V will be non-existent compared to any orange saws (from the 2xx series on) and the Echo 500p and Dolmar 5105, but to each their own. The Echo would be worth looking at as well, especially if porting *might* be in it's future.

I own a 346NE and a 357xp.. Pretty sure the old 357 and new 562 weights are very close. I can tell you, I notice a difference going from one to the other. I run 18" on the 346 and 20" on the 357. A couple pounds doesn't look like much on paper, but when you are spending a day working with them, you will feel the difference.. I have no doubt of that. Even more so if you run 16" on the 50cc.....

Nothing against the other brand/model suggestions made... just speaking in Huskies here..

Because Swedish models have their weight on top (hence a higher CG) thn the German models who tend to carry their weight in the trunk making for a lower CG...
