Very sorry to hear. I'm afraid my wife will be in the same boat any day now, her Mom is loosing the battle with the big C and has been hospitalized for about a week now. She called me a few days ago, and told me she was throwing in the towel.

Scott, out thoughts and prayers are with you.

When I lost my dear grandpa, that shocking event took me down some dark and twisted pathways, something I was not ready for at the time. Looking back now, those dark and twisted pathways were a reconfirmation that we were super close, although at the time it did not seem like it.

First cut ever at the age of 13teen with a MAC605 and I pinch the saw on the very first try, he looked at me and said “that is not how you cut with a chain saw.” I am glad those fond memories never go away!

Stay strong through these tough times.

My prayers are with you and your family. My mom passed away in 2007 and not a day goes by that shes not missed. Shes still with you and if you can get some quiet time in this hectic world you can still hear her guidance.
