does anyone have the kohler courage sb on the heat deflector. i have a customer that is acting like im not telling the truth and i would like to have the sb to go with the ticket

That heat shielding is t protect the after-fire fuel solenoid.

You may also need to add foam heat shielding to the fuel line and filter too. I have seen a couple this year where the fuel had reached boiling point causing vapor pockets in the fuel supply especially after running at full throttle under load and then idling. The foam tubing be like the one used on air conditioner Freon supply lines.

The last one I thermal tested was reaching 200F at the fuel filter.
