*f-wording POS. My wife bought a Keurig for Xmas from QVC because it was "a good deal" and was a special made to order blue (matches our ugly counter top) only available from QVC. The damn thing only lasted 2 weeks before something in it failed. Now anytime the thing is plugged in the wall it sounds like the air pump is running. The air pump usually blows out the line at the end of a brew but now it runs nonstop. Only time it shuts off is when it's brewing a cup. Some deal that was. Not like we needed it anyways but just goes to show you the crap they convince us we need in our lives. Coffee tastes like crap and I refuse to use the disposable things they want to sell you. Next thing they will want to sell us is a computer device you put into your home and talk to and it talks back so the government can spy on us. *f-word!

Got sick of them Bought me and my niece one it lasted ok but mold was a constant problem and that stupid caraffe that you can use regular coffee leaked.
I just use a 15.00 walmart jobbie for coffee and bought one for tea 4 bags of tea is perfect and they actually work.

I bought a Keurig Expresso Machine that takes the R cups and also separately froths milk...galfriend at the time convinced me into buying the damn thing. It's worked perfect for the last three years but I bet I ain't used the thing twice in the last year. Actually some of my sisters used it over the holidays during a big get together for my Navy son who was here. It just sits on one of my kitchen countertops, looking like a big ol' fancy black/grey paperweight.

I've had the cheap one that you add the water in each time you make a cup. Not the fanciest but it has worked for 4 years now. Looked at the nicer ones but looks like I'll just stay with the cheap one.

We've had one for a few years and I love it. I hate old coffee and it's a joy to have fresh coffee exactly the way I like it anytime I want. I use the little measure cup with my favourite coffee.

The one the wife bought was a base model just fancy blue. We had a simple one given to us a while ago from her sister that wouldn't brew a full cup unless you kept the thing full of water and did fancy trickery to it. It eventually shat the bed and I tried to take it apart and fix it but ended up nearly destroying it to get it apart. (They sell parts for the thing, surprise!) I would be more fond of them if they made it so you could take them apart to fix them but the don't. They are the devil.

I have a Bunn coffee maker. It makes a full pot in like 2 minutes. I drink 2 cups a day in the morning then that's it. I'm much more happy with the Bunn. Take your single serve maker and shove it. LOL

I would love to eventually get a Bunn. We have one at work and they are great! I only drink a cup occasionally at home and usually a cup at work a day so the little Keurig and a cheap Walmart $20 coffee maker when I want more do just fine right now. Folgers does seem to taste better in a Bunn though.

My home Bunn isn't quite like the industrial Bunn at the office. It is a nice unit but not that robust. The first one I had was stainless trim but it burned out after two years. I got a replacement one from Walmart but it didn't have the stainless trim. It's been working fine going one 3 yrs. There's something about the bunn where it brews it at the right temp and amount of time to make it taste better IMO.

I feel everyone's pain here. I had to buy a $400 stand mixer for my other half. It's been used twice in two years. It just sits on the counter taking up space near my $20 coffee pot.

You ain't telling me anything I've bought three of them fancy coffee makers. They are nothing but a pos and don't last. The last one was the top of the line model no better than any of the others. Now I have a Mr. Coffee plugging along everyday no complaints. That's my beef with most products I'll pay more for better quality but please don't sell me beep. As others have said my next purchase will be a Comercial bunn.

On a side note, I've been using this Hamilton Beach 2-Way coffee maker for about four yrs now...has never missed a beat. Can either flip the center switch to the right, brew 12 cups, or to the left and brew a single cup of coffee. Each side has its own separate water reservoirs and filter baskets. I think I paid about $45-50 bucks for it.

We had a keirig until i found mold growing on the inside of an old one that broke. I have to take things apart. Checked inside our good one and then used it for 357m target practice. All the tubes were moldy.

Mold makes you stronger right? Lol when this keurig dies I'll buy a Bunn and be done with it. I concur that it makes superior coffee to me. At least to my taste it does. It can also brew a whole pot in the time it take a keurig to make one cup

Anyone know how to make one give you a robust cup? Only thing I dislike about mine. It's a 2.0

That's part of my problem with them. I use the basket and fill my own grounds to the top and it tastes watered down compared to the Bunn I have with the same ratio of grounds:H2O (or is it H2O:Grounds?)
