the mount is the same you will need to grind out the tensioner holes and grind a spot for the oil to get through.
its a lot of trouble just stick to the original bar.

Seems easy enough. The same process is done to convert a K095 into a K041. It probably takes 5-10 minutes with a dremel.

Unless the bars you want to run don't come in the k216 mount. If I where to get one I would like to run that Oregon speedcut light weight bar on it. And I have it already in K095.
Corey I know you have a Dolmar 421 and a 6100 both great saw and you need something to fill in the middle lol must be CAD. Be careful it's a hard thing to control.

That is exactly what it is. I have yet to find a situation where the 421 and 6100 can't bring the wood home.
I really want the 301sx to come state side. Lol dang cad!

Based on the attached document the K216 looks very similar to the Ko95, with the same kind of oiler holes (= "normal" oiler holes, not the same system as the K041)?

I have seen cases where the same mount from different manufacturers looks more different...

Does this over lay helps? Grey areas are this mis-alignments.

Yes, but then there is the accuracy of the drawings, and consistency in production (also between bar brands) + the exact shape of adjuster pins in relation to the holes.

To me it looks like the K216 exists only because a saw brand insisted on having "their own" mount pattern, likely to sell more of "their own" bars (sounds familiar?) - but there are other possible reasons as well.
