Installing a carb kit K10-WS on homelite 410. I will most likely screw up the technical terms so bear with me.

The diaphragm doesn't have a tit to hook into the lever for the needle. Is this a change or is my Walbro carb kit junk. Looking closely it is machined very smooth. Not like it was damaged or miss machined.

Some of the kits have a "button" in the middle of the metering diaphragm instead of the "hook". As long as the button lines up with the end of your metering lever, it should work fine. Line the diaphragm up with the metering cover screw holes and then actuate the diaphragm with your index finger to see if it works smoothly.
