So, back when Left Coast Supply was selling off GB stuff on the cheap I bought a couple 16" .063 bars in d025. I also stumbled on some good deals on RSC in that gauge, so I have about a dozen loops of chain, maybe more. I ran that setup a fair amount on my ported 261 for the last couple years.
Anyway, I just sold that saw in favor of using 346s as my small saws. I want to keep one set up with .325 as I have several bars and chains that fit them, but I'd also like to run one with 3/8 for cutting firewood.
So, I'm trying to find a 60dl k095 3/8 .063 bar. And I'm striking out. Sugi and tsumura both make them in .050 and .058. Same with Oregon. I think Cannon makes what I'm after, but probably for more than I'd prefer to spend. Still hoping to hear back from our resident Cannon dealer with a price.
So, anyone got a k095 60dl 3/8 in .058 that is used enough to fit .063? Or, anyone without a machine shop have any luck widening a bar groove from .058 to .063? I have plenty of good sandpaper. Or does anyone know of a bar out there that I haven't found yet?
Thanks in advance!
