Yeah, I have 8 running trikes, and only 5 saws... 2 of which barely count as saws, the 35 and 136! LOL!

Lets see... Trikes
-'85 250r, 350 big bore,
-another '85 250r,
-'85 350x
-84 Big Red
-'84 125m x2
-'85 atc110
-'84 atc70/110 mod

And one lonely quad... an '88 Suzuki Quadrunner LOL!

Saws,
-372xpw
-357xp
-346xp ne
-136
-35
-And on it's way to me this week, a 359 that needs a fair bit of TLC... (CAD reared it's head last night) I have been fixing some saws for friends lately and it gave me the 7-year itch to get a project to do for myself...I plan to make this a birthday gift for my son in April. My plan is to do a Dad/son rebuild and get him interested in doing mechanical stuff like this..

Is it OK to use the term "CAD" here?? :D

Buddy of mine had a 1989 250r quad, was highly modified by a expert custom bike builder ( his own quad for a while), that thing was a beast!!! Had to put 100% effort into kicking that thing over, Popeye would have a hard time with the clutch (only used for starts and stops)

What a blast until my buddy crashed it and sold it,

Welcome to the party!!!

There are some insane 250r's still out there and still being built as we speak.

My big bore ATC is no joke, but it's not the level of build that some are. It is an ESR kit with all ESR supporting components, ported by Eddie himself for mid-top set up with the race fuel dome kicking around 205 psi.. It makes a stock engine with bolt-on mods seem slow. But there are 250r's out there that would eat mine for lunch!

I'd be curious as to who the builder was that did your buddy's R if you remember...

How long did it take to restore that R? Man that thing is sweet! Lol! ;)

Credit where due of course little brother!! What did it take you, about 5 years??? The I did the engine! :D

BTW guys, meet my brother, XP_Slinger. :)

He did the main rebuild/refresh of the big bore R. The trike was in descent shape when he got it, but he made it into a solid platform and then sold it... to me... I then decided to give the mill a little more attitude. :D

Hahaha I will show this thread to my wife....see darling, after all, I am not so bad, look on him!!!
Then she will smile when I get home again with the trunk full of chainsaws, unlike last time when she didnt say a word to me for a week.

Happy to help in any way that I can. :D

Glad you all like them.. :)

But be warned, if you get a wild hair and go pick one up for yourself for old times sake, like firearms and saws, they tend to multiply. ;)

Hmmmmmmm... A MM ported 250r. :D

And you thought you get alot of auminum out of an XPW cylinder!! You're gonna need a bigger scale!

Here's another for ya. I've had this 350X since I was 16. It's got a Wiseco pop up piston in it making 295psi the last time I put a guage on it. There's only one rule and that is "If you can start it, you can ride it." Did I mention the decompressor doesn't work? Lol! Ride-Red and I are the only ones who know "the trick" to firing this beast up.
