I need some full skip loops for my 32" bars and was wondering if anyone had any imput on these , i like the idea of the lower vibe with the extra rakers but not if it slows chip flow.

Thanks fellas.

I like it. I think it's fast and smooth. It does loose an edge faster than full comp. But the only skip I had to compare it to was RMF and APX.

Chip flow should be fine, as it's not really an extra raker, but a ramped bumper on the drive link. All to meet the bare minimum of the ANSI requirements to be sold as Low Kickback chain.

I'm not sure what RMF is, but APX(APLX) is Windsor Full chisel, so it would make sense that it would dull faster in dirty conditions. I had a bunch of the Windsor, and in clean conditions it is pretty wicked.

Ryan,
What kind of deal did you get on the JPX? There is a guy on AS, and maybe here with LPX For Sale, and the loop prices look reasonable.

RMF is full skip semi chizzz , RSF is full skip full chizzz

I paid 25 bucks per loop for the JPX for 105 drivers.

I can't afford to, nor do I see a reason to. The RS, LGX, LPX, and APX I have are good enough for me. Keep 'em sharp, and they do what they are supposed to.

Not that i would care one way or the other because i dont race ..but mastermech did a comparo of new full comp square vs round and they were within a second of eachother..i know the ninjas can make square fast but its just not my thing...and its expensive to maintain.

Exactly. The trees I work on aren't 10x10 square.

The APX that I'm talking about is Oregon semi-chisel skip.
