hello everyone.
new here so forgive me with some possible novice questions. anyways so i just picked up a 1983 tonsured 920 that is pretty much complete…. as far as i can tell so far. so when i picked the saw up earlier today i was told that it hadn't been running in a while and he thought it needed an ignition. so before i bought one i checked the air gap and came to the conclusion that it was not correct. so i gapped it to the .3mm put it back together burped it with a little drizzle down the carb and ta da! it lives. runs idles revs as i would hoped….. so i need parts lots of parts. i need an air filter, guide bars that would fit that and the correct spark plug it has a bosch in it but the number in it doesn't match what is on acres web site, so can i get away with the standard ngk plugs i run in all my more modern saws. can i some how make a different top cover and and air filter set up work for this saw or is there an after market filter out there? any idea on where to find the chain brake lever? can i use more modern fuel filters for it? i realize I'm kinda all over the place but any info would be appreciated thanks a bunch

Hey Andrew. I happen to have a 920s here that had a case full of water. Maybe I can help you out and I'm just down here in pa. I haven't been able to pull the trigger and buy what I need so I'd likely have all you need.

Parts for that model are going to be hard to find because there was really no cross-over to Husqvarna. It was a 100% Jonsered saw. Great machine though if you can locate what you need.
