Hey Guys -

I got a fully rebuilt Jonny 2172 up for grabs. Originally, I set this up for a trade deal with another member but we've since decided to go a different direction. This saw is the result of a low-hour smashed 2172 I got from an AS member on a different trade deal and then a clean 2165 parts saw I got off Ebay. I used the 2165 PTO side case half and the 2172 flywheel side case half (The 2172 PTO side of the case was crunched). I installed new Nachi bearings and new OEM gaskets and seals. I used the 2172 crank because it is flawless. The top end is a new OE 71cc OEM 372/2171 kit that I got from a member here. Carb is the walbro HD-12B and it has a new OEM kit in it. The full-wrap is a used 2171 handle I got from an AS member.

Other new OEM parts: Starter housing, rope rotor, spring, rope, handle; Clutch cover and chain tensioner, heat shield, tank vent, fuel line and filter, clutch drum bearing and sprocket, and I believe the clutch drum is new too but I'll have to verify. I used the 2172 oil pump, worm gear, and clutch since those parts are in good shape. I used the 2165 muffler since the 72 muffler was all caved in. I used the 2165 tank because it's cherry and the other tank was broken in half.

The brake handle is a new OEM 2172 piece but all the internal brake components are off the 2172 (original brake handle was smashed). A lot of the hardware is new too. I used the intake boot, flange, sealing ring, and clamp off the 2172.

I do have a couple extra air filters for this along with some other goodies. I'm asking $700.00 plus shipping, and as always I have some trade bait I'll take -

McCulloch 105/125 carcasses and parts
Larger Alpina saws or parts
Maybe a clean ported top handle, depending on what it is

Looks good.

Give a guy a chance to finish the listing, Mr. B... :lupie:

Damn you! I was gonna get that wrap over on AS so I would have an excuse to get a 2065 off of a buddy! Now I've gotta find a different excuse!
