@Heffalump's 2051 running first cuts after port work and reassembly. This is a pretty impressive saw with good low end torque. I wouldn't mind adding one to my collection.

No, not at all. The 2051 and the 2055 always ran very well (the 2055 replaced the 2051 in 2004 or so, 53.2cc vs. 50.9).
The open port 2054 is a different story, but not really a bad runner that either, provided it is the original 53.2 cc version, and not the later 48.7cc one.
