I decided to start bringing this saw to work, but when I went to test run it, I couldn't get it rich enough. It seems to idle, and reaches full throttle with a small hesitation and seems to run too lean. I couldn't tune the problem out of it. Then when I sat it on the work bench, it started pumping gas out of the carb. I don't feel like messing with it since I have plenty of other saws. It's old, but has had relatively little use from what I can tell: original bar and chain.

I did tinker on the inside a little, but plenty of room for improvement. No machine work, BGD, I think I squared the piston a little to the exhaust port roof, likely no timing advance. The muffler is modded, and is perfectly designed to disguise it, so it could make a good sleeper.

Compression is cold and wet since the carb flooded it. I'm surprised to see it that high considering how it felt. Piston is still perfectly clean, very minor abrasions around the exhaust port, could be from breaking in still after porting, or the lean running today.
